The maximum lift height is 10 metres — roughly three storeys, or a two-storey house plus its roofline. Horizontal reach is about 7 metres from the truck.

That combination is what lets the crane place a load over a fence, across a front garden, onto a rooftop or onto a first-floor balcony without the truck ever entering the property.

2.4 tonnes (2,400 kg) close in. As with every truck-mounted crane, safe capacity reduces as the boom extends further out, so the load you can place at full 7 metre reach is lower than the rated maximum.

A crane truck — often called a Hiab, after the best-known brand of truck-mounted crane — carries its crane on the truck’s own chassis. It drives to site, lifts the load and then carries the load away in the same vehicle.

A mobile crane only lifts. It reaches much higher and heavier, but needs a separate truck to transport the load, plus a lift study, a bigger setup footprint and a much larger bill.

Guy-Plus does arrange standing or repeat work for builders, landscapers, real estate agencies and trades — a regular weekly site run, for example — but that is an ordinary agreement between the two of you, quoted per visit, with no subscription fee and no lock-in contract.

Guy-Plus carries public liability insurance, and any damage or dispute is handled directly with the owner-operator who did the work — not passed to a third party.

Guy-Plus is run by a mechatronics engineer, so the person on site understands both the hydraulics of the crane and the electronics of whatever is being moved or installed.

Multi-colour, multi-material 3D printing: PLA $2/hr, ABS & ASA $5/hr, Nylon PA6, PA12 and Carbon Fibre $10/hr, all plus GST.

3D scanning at 0.1 micron resolution is $150/hr + GST, used for reverse engineering legacy or obsolete parts and for scan-to-print reproduction, with STL, OBJ, PLY and STEP exports.

Yes — that is what the tilt tray is for. The deck tilts to ground level so cars, utes, ride-on mowers, forklifts, mini-excavators and cargo cages roll straight on, with no ramps and no risk of scraping.
